What does the extended warranty for a laptop cover?
The battery in my laptop was after a less than year of use. That was not covered. My friend dropped his laptop and the screen went blank media and was told that was not covered. So what extended warranty actually cover? Have we been deceived by these things extended warranty?
Extended warranty covers the same components as 1. one year warranty, some offer coverage for damage from accidental damage, like dropping, spillage etc. should check with the manufacturer. batteries at generally not covered as they can be changed, extracting and loading several times before a problem occurs. You should always read the contract for warranty coverage before accepting it. Hope this helps
