Why schools to register your card before using the laptop there?
I was wondering if they are doing to track those used here, for your safety, or just butt into your business. can find out what things are going to access on your laptop, since they have their card laptop? thanks and a great day.
Several reasons. 1) If the network is somewhat "protected", or even without warranty, no one without proof of attending the university that can connect to the network of schools, and therefore cannot get internet on campus. 2) IP recording / monitoring. If you are planning something or some hacking, the College reserves the right to look through their records. This is my university, which is actuallly a university. It may be different for you.
